OLED TVs at CES 2025
Brighter OLEDs!
In the TV department, Samsung and LG both showed off their latest generation OLED TVs. For LG, the G5 and M5 are up to 40% brighter than the last generation. For Samsung, the S95F is the “World's brightest OLED” by 30%.
While OLED TVs are among the more expensive TVs, they utilize technology that allows each individual pixel to turn off, preventing any backlight from passing through and creating perfect black screens. For movies, this results in unheard-of image quality, nearly perfect color accuracy, and the incredible lighting control previously mentioned.
